Our Team

Jonny Barr

OWNER/GENERAL MANAGER

With 20+ years of experience at Michelin-starred and casual restaurants, Jonny brings his hospitality skills and genuine warmth to his own restaurant. He strives to make guests feel welcome — like friends in his own home. A native of upstate New York, Jonny moved to Southern California and began working in restaurants. He spent five years with the Eureka Restaurant Group, where he learned every side of the business — opening 15 restaurants throughout California. He also pursued wine knowledge, and he passed the Court of Master Sommeliers Level 2 Sommelier Exam. During his 6-year tenure as General Manager at SingleThread Farms, Jonny remained passionately committed to providing flawless dining experiences to every guest. He fell in love with the Healdsburg community, made lifelong friends, and became part of the community.

Sean McGaughey

EXECUTIVE CHEF

Sean’s career has run the gamut, having managed a 3 Michelin Star kitchen with some fun stops along the way. From culinary director of an award-winning cookbook, to working in and leading recipe development in notable restaurants, food has always been his focus. There is no better place for ingredients than Northern California, and Sean loves to embrace the locavore ethos as a result. Locally, Sean worked at SingleThread Farms for 5+ years, most recently as Chef de Cuisine. He currently owns and operates Quail & Condor bakery with Melissa. The success from their thriving bakery has led to the expansion of their brand and opening of Troubadour Bread & Bistro and their French-inspired supper club concept, Le Dîner.

Melissa McGaughey

EXECUTIVE PASTRY CHEF

Melissa began baking at seven years old with her grandmother. That interest continued to flourish throughout pastry school, while working in the best restaurants in Denver, opening her first bakery in Denver, and moving across the country twice to direct large pastry programs on the East and West Coasts for some of the leading names in the baking industry. Since moving to Northern California, she has worked at SingleThread Farms as the hotel baker. In 2019, Melissa was declared champion of the Food Network Holiday Baking competition. Her success culminated in the opening of her own successful bakery, Quail & Condor, and subsequently, Troubadour Bread & Bistro & Le Dîner.

Danielle Peters

BAR DIRECTOR

Having cut her (bartending) teeth at the legendary Trader Vic's San Francisco in 2006, Danielle went on to bartend and create bar programs for several Bay Area establishments including Michelin rated Nico in San Francisco. Family and community are at the heart of Danielle's passion for the hospitality industry. She, along with her wife and brother, were fortunate to have had the opportunity to create and manage their own concept, Whisper Sisters Cocktails & Provisions, where she served as the Beverage Director. With her wife Erin, she co-founded Wild Craft, a beverage catering company operating out of a modified 1967 Frolic camper. The two also created Good Folks Hospitality Co., to help bolster the industry and communities they love. Through intention, dedication to the craft, and warm hospitality, Danielle strives to create thoughtful and unconventional programs that remain approachable.
